Careers Dept. VCE Excursion to the AIRSHOW 2019

The Careers department had organised a specialist excursion for a select few students to attend the Air-Show 2019 held on the 1st March 2019. The day was a special event organised specifically for students from all around Victoria to gain an insight into the myriad of career options in the aviation industry and beyond such as logistics and defence. Students all applied to show cause as to why they should be selected since there were a limited number of tickets for all schools. They all received information packs full of free giveaways and heard from the top leaders in the various areas of the aviation industry, made contacts, and got a hands on look up close to the engineering marvels that are the flying machines of the next generation. We have several candidates for the aviation industry and some aspiring pilots amongst our student cohort and I wish them the best in letting them know that we as Sirius College Careers Department are here to guide them through every step of the process.
